Baked Zucchini

Tonight I made a mouth watering vegetable recipie; Baked Zucchini. It's easy to make and healthy. You can show off without even trying.

I recommend buying more Zucchini than you think you need, because the pieces will shrink once in the oven. I used 3 Zucchinis.

Steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 350

2. Slice the Zucchini in pieces cutting the length, like the picture below.

3. Put the Zucchini on a cookie sheet, and keep in the oven for about 15 minutes. (Time may vary depending on oven).
4. Once you feel that the Zucchini is soft (its okay to sneak a few bites!), take the sheet out and butter the top of each piece individually.
5. Turn the oven to high broil and put the Zucchini back in the oven for about 6 minutes. Check on it frequently, and once you feel that the top has your perfect golden touch, take the tray out.
6. The last step, and my favorite; sprinkle Lemon Pepper over the pieces. Use as much or as little as you like. My sister was shocked to find out that all I used to flavor the Zucchinis was Butter and Lemon Pepper.

Star Shapes are always a crowd pleaser ;)

The Beginning of Cooking with Style

"Glamour: the attractive or exciting quality that makes certain people or things see appealing or special." -New Oxford American Dictionary.
Grace Kelly (A glamour inspiration to me).

"Gourmet: a connoisseur of good food; a person with a discerning palate."-New Oxford American Dictionary.
A delicious Mint Chocolate Cake Ball made by my
friend Joy as a welcome home present to me

There is something special and exciting that happens when these two nouns unite. A revolution in the way food preparation and delivery is seen. Food is not only a need for survival but it is something that brings people together and causes quality time. Why not cook and eat in style?

As an 18 year old, I am personally no expert, but I am on a journey to become gain expertise and am inviting you to join me for the ride. I want my family to become excited about food again and not eat the same thing every night (plain chicken, green beens and rice).  Join me as I search for great, healthy recipes and execute it in a glamorous way that causes people to think of eating together as a special occasion.
